New Patients

You're in great hands

At a first visit I want to make sure that all patients feel welcome, safe and respected. During your first visit, I like to align my direction based entirely on patient expectation and need.  If you have booked for a consult only a first meeting can include, in less detail, what I would review during a full custom orthotic assessment. A look at foot structure and functional capacity, foot and lower limb history including a review of trauma or injury history, other relevant medical history and other specialty management history. We also discuss your baseline daily demands, footwear habits, possible prior orthotic history and I do an introductory gait assessment.  If we have time at our first no- fee visit I can go over treatment options and suggestions, if we need more informal time we can book for that.  If your family doctor needs information in order to provide you with a more informed referral I can help provide that. If advise or an opinion is all you are needing than I will try to provide that.  If we talk about life at a first visit more than your feet, and it often goes that way, then we've spent out time well !
